Week 93: Russia’s Kreminna & Bakhmut advaces

Avdiivka

This past week Russia’s offensive operations around Avdiivka continued with attacks on both flanks as well as on the city itself. Russia has continued to make gradual progress and has now advanced into the northern outskirts of the city and maintains their partial control of the southeastern industrial district.

Bakhmut

After smaller attacks in recent weeks, Russia has swiftly reclaimed control of most of the territory west of Bakhmut that they had lost during Ukraine’s offensives around the City, earlier in the year. Russia initially took control of these areas during the Battle for Bakhmut, this was followed by a successful Ukrainian counterattack which briefly re-entered the settlement of Berkhivka.

Kreminna

Russia has been carrying out attacks at many points along the frontline in the past week and has advanced Northwest from Kreminna.
